HR Director Julia Jones has held HR manager and director roles for a number of high profile regional businesses, operating in the professional services and publishing industries.

She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has more than 15 years' experience delivering HR business advice at operational, tactical and strategic levels. She is also an Acas accredited workplace mediator. Julia has a wealth of experience in management development training and can provide tailor made management programmes.

Julia is used to working at board level offering sound commercial business advice as well as HR strategy. She has supported a number of businesses during complex business reorganisation programmes,including handling redundancy negotiations and TUPE transfer issues.

Julia is experienced at handling sensitive staff matters such as undertaking disciplinary hearings and improving the performance of underperforming staff. She has undertaken a number of staff handbook audits for a broad range of clients, recommending policy and procedural changes to ensure companies do not inadvertently fall foul of the law.

HR consultant Amanda Coleman supports businesses looking to recruit new staff to their team. Well-versed in drafting wording for recruitment advertisements, creating job descriptions and person specifications, she is also on hand to help with interviewing and to ensure that selection procedures are carried out fairly and meet the needs of the company.

An associate member of the CIPD, Amanda has an excellent reputation for supporting managers when they need to deal with difficult members of staff. She adopts a thorough and methodical approach to helping clients reduce sickness absence and helping people return to work after long absences, which includes delivery of return to work interviews and plans for phased reintegration into the workplace.

She uses her first class negotiation and people skills to nip potentially damaging staff disputes in the bud, limiting the risk of future grievance or tribunal claims.

Helen Jefferies is an HR professional with experience of working with local and national companies across different sectors such as advertising and marketing, retail, IT and publishing.

A Chartered fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and with a BA (hons) in Business Studies, Helen has extensive experience of providing generalist HR support strategically linked to business goals.

Helen has a proven track record of addressing cultural and morale issues with bespoke performance management programmes, discipline and grievance interventions and mediation support. She has a counselling qualification that has given many employees the opportunity to address issues in confidence and help them to increase the value they are adding to their organisation.

Helen is highly organised and has created many systems for improving efficiency and has successful experience of gaining Investors in People status.
