Amanda started her working life at BPE as a secretary in the commercial property team. Before long it became apparent that she had a natural flair for dealing with people and this has shaped her career path within the firm.

“I have always been very sociable and often find that people come to me for advice. This was no different when I was working as a secretary in various departments at BPE, where I just seemed to fall into the role of team confidante.” said Amanda.

“When I discovered that the HR team at the firm were looking for an adviser I was delighted. I had been thinking about making a career change but hadn’t wanted to leave BPE. This role was the perfect compromise.”

“There have been many challenges in making the transition to an HR Adviser but the firm has offered its support at every opportunity. This backing has enabled me to take on a new role and gain a related qualification while still working with the people that I know, like and trust.”
