BPE strengthens property litigation team
A new legal expert has been appointed by BPE to support developers, landlords, tenants and homeowners who need to resolve complex disputes over property.

Bruce Lunt is the latest addition to the firm’s property dispute resolution team, led by experienced Associate Clare Orman.

Bruce, who was a latecomer to the legal profession, now joins the Cheltenham-based firm from the Civil Litigation team at Lyons Davidson in Bristol. He has sound advocacy skills having first trained as a barrister. His practical yet assertive problem-solving approach will benefit clients who need early resolution to potential disagreements, whether commercial or otherwise.

In addition to the department's own work load, he will work closely with the firm’s 20-strong commercial property experts, proactively managing disputes for clients.

“BPE offers me the opportunity to build upon my existing skills and to work with a broad range of property clients. I was attracted to the firm not just because of its reputation in commercial property but also because of its people-orientated culture,” said Bruce, who lives in Cheltenham.

Team leader Clare Orman said: “Bruce fits the bill for BPE. Having worked in industry for a number of years before cross qualifying as a solicitor he has strong commercial awareness and the maturity to know that property disputes can be resolved without necessarily always relying on the court process. He understands the need to provide value for money and to find a solution that matches a client’s budget.”
