New dispute resolution partner appointed
Clare Orman has been promoted to partner in recognition of the way in which she has grown BPE Solicitors’ property dispute resolution team.

Clare has been a practising commercial litigator for 20 years and specialises in property dispute resolution.

She has particular expertise in commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes, contentious and uncontentiousl lease renewals, housing repossession and land law related actions such as boundary disputes and rights of way. Her co-operative approach often results in early settlement and her assertiveness means more complex cases are resolved with minimum hassle.

Clare, who has worked at BPE for the past 10 years, also deals with liquor licensing applications on behalf of clients.

Head of dispute resolution Partner Philip Radford said: “Clare is extremely popular with clients, colleagues and fellow professionals. Her easy-going manner and problem-solving skills have helped her to grow BPE’s property dispute resolution offering, attracting work from new and existing clients across the region. I am delighted to welcome her to the partnership.”

In addition to the department’s own caseload, Clare and Assistant Bruce Lunt work closely with the firm’s 20-strong commercial property experts, proactively managing disputes for clients.

“I am genuinely thrilled to be promoted to partner in recognition of my hard work over the past 10 years. Becoming partner will allow me to do even more to convince clients that resolving property disputes does not need to be a stressful or expensive experience and that we can find solutions that match a client’s budget and timescales.”
