More than thirty people attended a wine tasting evening held by the BABC on Wednesday night.

The British American Business Council, which promotes links between companies on both sides of the Atlantic, teamed up with Birmingham-based BPE Solicitors, to host a wine tasting with a difference.

The event focused on New World wines, blending the smoothness of the deep South, the aroma of Napa Valley and the sophistication of New England.

An expert from local wine merchant Connollys was drafted in to lead the participants through the tasting session, followed by canapés and networking.

Susan Faulkner, Executive Director for BABC in the Midlands said: ‘This event showcased the best wine the USA has to offer and was a tremendous way to network for busy professionals’.
