‘Cocktail Crazy’ blends Birmingham’s young professionals
A cocktail event with a twist was the perfect networking tonic for Birmingham’s young professionals last night.

Bennetts Hill-based BPE Solicitors held the event, which was carried out by cocktail gurus, Shaker. Participants got involved in mixing their own cocktails and shots, as well as partaking in the art of ‘flairing’, where bar tenders get the chance to show off their showmanship abilities.

Following two hours of intense practice, four winners were chosen by the expert bar tenders from Shaker. Simon Morris of BPE was lauded for his superb flairing abilities; Laurie Taylor of RW Gregory won the shooter round, while Lydia Michaelson-Yeates of BPE was commended for making the most stylish cocktail, with Lee Brown of Leadbitter winning the taste test.

Mark Elder, Associate at BPE was delighted with the outcome of the event: 'This was an original evening shaking and stirring the young professional community of Birmingham. Everyone had a great time and were pleased to be attending something a little different. BPE is particularly proud to be supporting the networking opportunities of Birmingham’s young talent’.
