Fast track Tribunal claim
A new fast track system will be introduced into the Tribunal system whereby five jurisdictions can be fast tracked in front of a Tribunal Chairman sitting alone, according to Hansard.
The jurisdictions that will be covered are unlawful deductions from wages, breach of contract, redundancy pay, holiday pay and national minimum wage claims.
A Tribunal Chairman, now called an Employment Judge, will not be assisted by wing members, although there is no indication how long claims will take in the new fast track system.
