BPE and guests enjoy a night of “bunberrying”
Last week lawyers from BPE and guests from across the region gathered at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham for an evening of Wilde entertainment.

The group were challenged to unravel the mystery of classic comedy “The Importance of Being Earnest” by Oscar Wilde, during a performance at the theatre by a host of renowned small screen actors.

In a topsy-turvey tale involving imaginary friends, two Earnests (both of which don’t exist), ladies in love and family revelations, this was no mean feat.

As sponsors of both the show and the Everyman Theatre, BPE were keen to make it an epic occasion and arranged for pre-theatre dinner and drinks to be served in a private dining room at the venue.

It was clear from the enthusiastic response of the group that the whole evening was a real blockbuster, as Private Client Partner, Sophie Endersby explains:

“Even before the performance began people were chatting and laughing. By the time we took our seats there was a really jovial atmosphere which was only ever going to be heightened by the hilarious goings-on of the plot. Many people left the theatre saying it was something they should do more often.”
