BPE pair promoted to partner
Proactive regional firm BPE Solicitors is proud to announce the promotion of Andrea Bateman and Mark Elder to partner.
Andrea is experienced in all aspects of employment law and spends the majority of her time working on behalf of employers looking for pragmatic and decisive advice. She carries out both contentious and non-contentious work and has particular expertise in discrimination, redundancy and employment agency issues.
Based in Cheltenham, Andrea is a key player in the region’s leading employment team with an excellent reputation that she is eager to build on, as she explains:
“Our broad skills set, commercial acumen and cohesion is already benefiting a diverse group of employers across the region. Together with team leader Darren Sherborne, I will be looking to extend our reach with local companies.”
Mark, who joined BPE’s Birmingham office just a year ago, has a wealth of experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, including shareholder disputes, warranty claims, commercial contractual claims, IP/IT disputes and corporate recovery. In addition he has in-depth experience in executing, defending and supervising search orders and is a keen advocate of mediation.
Commenting on his promotion Mark said:
"I am delighted with the appointment. We have an excellent team with a reputation for providing pragmatic yet robust advice. I am looking forward to developing that reputation even further, particularly in the Birmingham market place and securing further instructions from prominent institutions across the region".
Commercial solicitor Caroline Trasler has also been promoted to associate. Caroline specialises in providing clients with practical advice in relation to company law matters. Her expertise extends from joint ventures and shareholders agreements through to small to mid-range corporate acquisitions and disposals.
