BPE Solicitors help to showcase talents of a local artist
BPE Solicitors is set to turn its reception area into a temporary art gallery to showcase the work of local artist Maggie Hilditch to clients and visitors.

The exhibition, which includes eight original works of art by Cheltenham-based Maggie, takes its inspiration from nature and jazz to create a colourful explosion of creativity at the firm’s St James’ Square offices.

BPE’s clients, visitors and members of the public will be invited to view Maggie’s paintings, which will be launched at a private viewing being staged on May 15.

The exhibition, running for the next four months, is expected to be the first in a series being planned by the law firm to showcase the work of local artists.

“We firmly believe in supporting talented business people and offering our clients a service that is individual and bespoke, so lending our support to creative professionals such as Maggie Hilditch was a natural step for us,” said Senior Partner John Workman.

“Maggie’s bright and vibrant works of art lift our reception area and will add a splash of summer colour to our office which is sure to be appreciated by our staff and those visiting our offices,” he added.

More than 50 people are expected to attend the exhibition’s private viewing next week.

“As a local artist I am always looking for suitable space to exhibit my work and I am extremely grateful for BPE’s support,” said Maggie, who has been painting for more than 20 years.

The exhibition will be used to raise money for BPE’s nominated staff charity – the National Star College – with Maggie kindly donating one of her works of art to be auctioned during the private view.

Any other local artists who wish to be considered for BPE’s exhibition space are invited to approach the firm. Please contact Clara Barber for more information at clara.barber@bpe.co.uk.
