BPE Solicitors has advised Mears Group PLC's subsidiary Careforce, one of the UK's leading providers of domiciliary care services, on the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Bristol-based Capable Care.
Capable Care operates from offices on the outskirts of Bristol, servicing contracts with South Gloucestershire County Council and private clients.
Mike Rogers, Chairman of Careforce said: "Capable Care currently delivers approximately 1,700 hours per week and employs over 70 carers. This is our third acquisition since Mears acquired Careforce in April and further demonstrates their commitment to building a national provider of high quality domciliary care. The expansion of Capable Care gives us a stepping stone into the South West from which we can extend our geographical coverage."
Corporate Partner Tim Ward, supported by employment associate John Murphy and commercial property assistant Ben Thomas, led the deal, which took five weeks to complete.
