David Holmes

Solicitor

David joined BPE in July 2006. A Chartered Engineer, he spent many years running construction sites before being involved in a large tunnel claim which led to him training to become a solicitor.

With his background, David is able to offer an early assessment of the prospects of success in a claim and to assess the best possible solution for his client. He has been instrumental in the successful resolution of many construction disputes.

David takes a practical approach to risk management and procurement strategy. Armed with a strong knowledge of a range of construction contracts including JCT, NEC, IChemE and ICE, David has also drafted and reviewed development agreements, professional appointments and collateral warranties.
