Supporting SuperGroup's flotation plans
BPE Solicitors LLP, longstanding legal advisers to SuperGroup PLC, has supported the Cheltenham-based clothing company’s plans during its float by creating and managing a virtual data room to support the smooth running of the transaction.
Partner Antonia Shield, who has managed the firm’s relationship with the company for more than eight years, was trusted to collate all key legal documentation with her team and make it accessible to all the relevant parties involved.
Antonia has helped build up SuperGroup’s chain of stores over a number of years and is also familiar with the day-to-day operations of the Group.
As large corporate finance transactions of the magnitude of SuperGroup’s flotation require an easily accessible and fully updated virtual data room, Antonia and her team were well-placed to co-ordinate and manage this moveable feast. It ensured that key advisers had access to all material contracts and information round-the-clock.
For the past two years Antonia and the rest of the commercial property and corporate teams at BPE Solicitors have been working towards the Group’s expansion plans by supporting the due diligence process. At the same time Antonia has continued to manage the legal side of the expanding portfolio.
