Business golf day raises BIG amount for charity
Property professionals from the Gloucestershire business community came together at the Tewkesbury Park Hotel to raise money for charity in the latest Business in Gloucestershire (BIG) golf day.

The event, hosted by St James’ Square-based BPE Solicitors LLP, saw 25 players engage in a Stableford competition. It was the first of 2010 for the social golfing network that aims to raise money for local charities whilst enjoying 18 holes. Winston’s Wish, a Cheltenham-based charity that helps bereaved children and their families, was the beneficiary of March’s event.

Bruce Lunt, solicitor in the Property Dispute Resolution department at BPE, who organised the day, said: “Despite a soggy start our groups managed to get around the course well. Networking on the golf course whilst raising money for a great charity likes Winston’s Wish is a winning combination – and we look forward to the next event in May.”
