We believe that everyone deserves to be heard. Collaboration is something that runs through BPE, and we appreciate that good ideas can come from every part of our organisation. That’s why we have our Works Council. It’s a cross-department, cross-level group that works with the senior management team to find solutions to problems, suggest ideas and identify ways that BPE can continuously improve. From new staff benefits to feedback on events and activities, the Council collates suggestions from anyone and discusses them in council meetings. The Works Council performs a vital role in helping everyone feel valued for their contributions and we don’t just mean for their daily tasks.
BPE's culture allows for a good work/life balance and the firm hosts regular socials for teams and on a firm-wide level, integrating people into the firm.
BPE has always been a passionate supporter of charities, having fundraised for Macmillan Cancer Support in 2016-2018 and now local charity Winston's Wish in 2019

For many years, we have maintained a social committee, tasked with bringing people together from across the firm. It’s part of our dedication to a healthy balance of work, rest and play. The committee plans events to raise funds for charity, and also facilitates opportunities to mingle with people from other teams that might not otherwise come into regular contact. This is really important in fostering a community spirit throughout the company and we regularly hold social events where it’s all about fun.
