BPE Solicitors’ Corporate Team Supports Totally Plc with Acquisition of About Health Ltd

The corporate team at Gloucestershire based BPE Solicitors LLP has recently advised healthcare services group, Totally Plc, in the acquisition of About Health Ltd, increasing its offering of community based health services.

Led by BPE Equity Partner, Anthony Rudge and supported by Senior Associate, Emma Payne, the deal saw Totally Plc continue with its ‘buy and build’ strategy following the purchase of Premier Physical Healthcare in April of this year.

Totally Plc, based in London, is focused on the provision of professional health services including coaching which promotes and facilitates self care, supporting individuals to better understand and manage their clinical conditions.

“The deal required careful management to complete the purchase within the allotted timescale and to ensure that both parties were happy,” Anthony said. “With each acquisition, Totally Plc are building a more diversified service in the UK out-of-hospital sector, and the purchase of About Health is very complementary to the group’s existing operations.”

Established in 2008, About Health Ltd provides high quality community based health services under contract to the NHS to a population of almost 3 million people in the South of England.  The company is a leader in the provision of dermatology and referral management services.
