BPE ‘AIMs’ high with trio of corporate deals
BPE Solicitors have advised dotdigital Group plc on the £11 million acquisition of the Comapi group of companies based in Cheltenham. Comapi, which operates in the omni-channel messaging and cloud communication market, will enhance dotdigital's existing product platform and enable dotdigital to offer a more comprehensive range of services to digital marketing professionals.
Working with large clients such as eBay, GAP and TSB, Comapi provides a range of customer service platforms and solutions such as SMS communications and Live Chat to allow companies to communicate quickly and effectively with their customers.
The BPE team was led by Corporate lawyers Anthony Rudge, Louise Grzasko and Angharad Rees with assistance from colleagues in Commercial Property, Employment and Commercial, including Tim Gofton (Employment) and Lisa Page (Commercial) each of whom played a key part in ensuring the acquisition completed within the necessary timeframe.

This was one of several deals recently completed by the Corporate team which also saw Anthony Rudge and Louise Grzasko advising Concepta plc on a placing of and subscription for shares to raise £2 million. AIM listed Concepta plc is a UK healthcare company that develops products to help women with unexplained infertility to conceive.
Anthony and Louise also advised another AIM company, LightwaveRF plc, on a placing of and subscription for shares to raise £5 million and an open offer to raise up to a further £1 million.
LightwaveRF provides smart home solutions that allow people to control a range of items around the home including heating, power and lighting via a smartphone app.
