Newly Fledged Legal Eagles

Regional firm, BPE Solicitors, is starting the new year with a brace of newly qualified solicitors, as both Kathryn Broughton and Zaia Ndokera completed their training contracts and became fully fledged solicitors in January.

Joining the Corporate team as a solicitor, Kathryn returns to the department where she took her second seat during her training contract. She also spent time in the employment, commercial property and commercial litigation team, gaining valuable experience on the road to qualification.

“I’m delighted to start 2018 on such a positive note,” says Kathryn. “I’ve loved my time so far at BPE, everyone has been so friendly and approachable, it’s been a great place to continue my career and I’m looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead.”

Meanwhile, Zaia has qualified as a solicitor in the Family team. “I joined BPE as a trainee solicitor in April 2016. I chose BPE as I wanted to work for a firm that attracted and retained great clients. Having met the other trainees in my cohort and other BPE staff, I knew it was the right choice to start my legal training here. The balance between great clients and a fantastic working atmosphere means the team works really well together on all levels.”

Commenting on the recent qualifications, John Workman, Senior Partner, said: “Seeing rising stars of the future come through our trainee scheme is always a champagne moment. We give our trainees the chance to get stuck in from the start and get a feel for different teams before they qualify. I look forward to seeing great things from these two in the coming years.”
