Commercial team at BPE Solicitors grows with new appointment

BPE Solicitors, a Top 200 law firm with headquarters in Cheltenham, has appointed Emma Hickson as a Senior Associate as part of its Commercial team.

Joining BPE from Charles Russell Speechlys and having worked in commercial law for more than a decade, Emma brings a wealth of experience to the team. Emma trained and qualified at Eversheds LLP in London before spending eight years working for IT services company DXC Technology (formerly Computer Sciences Corporation) as an outsourcing lawyer. Emma also has first-hand experience of the growing fintech sector having been Chief Legal Officer for mobile payments company, Luup.

Emma advises on commercial contracts with a particular interest in technology and IT, often negotiating complex framework and subcontracting arrangements and advising on high value outsourcing bids in both the public and private sectors.
