BPE’s expertise recognised

The wide-ranging expertise of Top 200 law firm, BPE Solicitors, has once again been underlined with the release of the annual Legal 500 rankings.

Listed in nine categories, BPE’s Litigation and Employment teams were both ranked in the top Tier 1 while Partners Philip Radford and Rebecca Maxwell were identified as a Leading Individual and a Next Generation Lawyer respectively.

Rankings in seven further categories included Corporate, Commercial and Private Wealth areas. As a well respected and established practice in the region, the results help to cement BPE’s position as an exceptional provider of legal services.

“We have an extremely skilled and professional team of specialists at BPE and this is reflected in these results,” commented Senior Partner, John Workman. “To have achieved rankings across the nine different areas is testament to the hard work of everyone throughout the business and we’re focussed on continuing to build on this.

“Client prestige is one of the factors used as a measurement and we are proud to have worked with a number of high-profile businesses both regionally and nationally. Our work involves advising regional and national companies including Mears Group, SuperGroup, PureGym, Lloyds Bank, Innovate UK, Creed Food Services and Spectrum Medical, alongside many successful SMEs. Some of these partnerships go back more than two decades; some are more recent but there for the long term. This is fundamentally a relationship driven business.”

The listings also singled out many other team members, including John Workman (Senior Partner), Antonia Shield (Head of Property), Anthony Rudge (Head of Corporate), Lisa Gettins (Head of Employment), Helen Cankett (Head of Family) and Clare Young (Head of Private Wealth). Senior Associate Thomas Hall (Litigation), was described as ‘one to watch for the future’; Partner Peter Tyrrell (Private Wealth), who ‘provides excellent client service and pragmatic advice on a timely basis’ and Senior Associate Sarah Lee (Employment), was praised for her ‘consistent and utterly professional approach’.
