BPE celebrates Chambers & Partners rankings

Gloucestershire-based BPE Solicitors has several reasons to celebrate following the release of the latest Chambers & Partners rankings which sees three of the firm’s business teams retain their ranking within the whole of the South West.

The Corporate team, led by Louise Grzasko, has retained its Band 2 ranking, making it the highest ranked Corporate team in Cheltenham. While the five Partner team advises clients on a company’s lifecycle from start-ups and fundraisings, to mergers, acquisitions and disposals, it was the team’s breadth of experience in the AIM market that was a key factor in the retained ranking. This ranking follows in the team’s recent shortlisting for three awards in the South West Insider Dealmakers awards.

Two members of the Corporate team have been individually recognised: John Workman has been named an Eminent Practitioner while Anthony Rudge has been ranked in Band 3.

The Commercial Property and Employment teams have also retained their rankings in Band 4 with several Partners named as notable practitioners: Jo Bewley, Head of Property, and both Heyma Holmes and Sarah Lee in Employment.

Chambers and Partners is an independent legal directory which undertakes research annually, collating feedback from both clients and peers to rank law firms for the services they provide.

Senior Partner, John Workman, commented “I am delighted with these rankings. To have maintained our ranking in three categories is a reflection of the quality of solicitor we have at BPE. Being the highest ranked Corporate team in Cheltenham is a testament to the expertise in the team and I am very proud of the work the firm has done over the past 12 months”.
