20 minute rest break means an uninterrupted period

In this article, we consider the case of Crawford v Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd in which the EAT held that compensatory rest must, as far as possible, amount to a single break from work that lasts at least 20 minutes. It was important that, during the rest period, the worker was free from work.
