Natalie McMahon

Associate

I am an experienced litigator specialising in all aspects of residential and commercial property disputes, as well as professional negligence. I also practice in other areas of civil litigation including commercial contract disputes and commercial debt recovery.

I manage a varied workload and I am regularly instructed on the following:

  • Residential Property Disputes: Repossession of properties under the Housing Act 1988, and related rent arrears; advice relating to rights of way and claims for prescriptive easements; claims for adverse possession under the Land Registration Act 2002, and advice on rights of first refusal under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987.
  • Commercial Property Disputes: Lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954; advising on breaches of restrictive covenants; forfeiture claims and claims for relief from forfeiture; advising on exercising break clauses, and the preparation and service of break notices.
  • Other Civil Disputes: professional negligence claims against other professionals, commercial contract disputes and commercial debt recovery.

I act for both commercial and individual clients, and pride myself on understanding a client’s objectives so that I can provide practical strategic advice to achieve those goals. I particularly enjoy helping my clients to navigate the complexities of the law and to negotiate a successful outcome.

Natalie is also a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association
