I guide my clients through the process and documentation, explaining legal jargon and putting them at ease during what can be a difficult time
I qualified as a Solicitor in 2009, having worked in the legal sector since 2005, and have been a Partner since 2017. I advise clients on a broad range of matters including Wills and estate planning, Powers of Attorney, Trusts and the administration of estates. I also have particular experience in advising vulnerable clients and families with children who may have a learning and/or physical disability.
My clients tend to be business owners and farming partnerships, families as well as attorneys or deputies acting on behalf of vulnerable persons. For these clients, I assist them or their legal representatives with financial management, health and welfare issues and applications to the Court of Protection, which include applications for Deputy Orders where a Power of Attorney is not in place, Statutory Wills, the removal of an Attorney/Deputy, orders for sale in respect of property or of gifting by an Attorney/Deputy, seeking judgment in respect of Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
I work with my clients to guide them through the process and documentation, explaining any legal jargon, so that they fully understand what needs to be done during what can be a difficult or emotional time.
