Senior Associate

I am an Associate solicitor in the Family Team at BPE. I have the expertise to deal with all aspects of family work including but not limited to divorce and financial matters, pre and post nuptial agreements, and matters concerning unmarried couples. I have experience of cases involving business structures, as well as properties outside of the Jurisdiction. I also have extensive experience in assisting families who are unable to agree matters in relation to their children, whether that be issues surrounding who their children should live with or when children should spend time with their non-resident parent. I have dealt with complex cases involving Fact Finding Hearings, intractable disputes, change of residence and those requiring the need for a rule 16.4 Guardian and further expert involvement. 

I have a particular interest in carrying out advocacy, meaning I can represent clients at the Court Hearing itself, particularly during the initial stages. Such an approach can be of significant benefit to a case, as I have a deeper understanding of the issues, having been involved from the outset.   

I help my clients navigate through a difficult time in their lives by giving sound and realistic advice. I am pragmatic and will go above and beyond to achieve the best outcome possible. Building a rapport and helping my clients to focus on what is best for them and/or their children moving forward is a rewarding part of my job.

I am a member of Resolution and follow their Code of Practice. I am supportive of alternative dispute resolution and will discuss the merits of each option available in order that an informed decision as to how best to resolve a dispute can be made.
