As a Partner in the Commercial Property team, I specialise in all aspects of real estate and property law for private individuals. My clients range from farmers and landowners, to commercial clients who are acquiring businesses, assets and taking leases. My no-nonsense yet engaging approach to working with my clients helps them to achieve their goals, meaning I am often seen as a trusted adviser to my clients who rely on me for a variety of needs and support.
I get involved in a variety of different elements of Commercial Property, including:
• working on developments and strategic land disposal and acquisition
• landlord and tenant work
• taking care of and advising owners on their property portfolios (transactions ranging from £100,000 to £4m)
• setting up developments for residential and commercial clients (including setting up a £15 million residential development scheme in the Midlands)
• acting for investors and developers and negotiating promotion agreements (particularly working alongside SIPP providers)
• options and conditional contracts with their associated agreements
• renewable energy projects
• assisting with secured lending and finance agreements for banks and individuals (including debt re-structuring with associated acquisitions)
As well as my Commercial Property solicitor role, I am a Notary Public and offer an extensive range of notarial services. These include validating Powers of Attorney, company certificates, the identification of directors, individuals or other officers of businesses, and certifying documents for use abroad including the handling of legalisation where required.
