Costs for notarising documents

We will not charge for the initial consultation and following that meeting, our fees are calculated based on the amount of time spent notarising documents.

Typically, we will charge for:

  • The time spent in meeting with a client
  • Taking the initial instructions
  • Giving preliminary advice
  • Considering and notarising the documents
  • Dealing with the Foreign Office or consulate
  • Arranging a courier for special delivery of your documents
  • Preparing formal records

What do I need to bring?

Early discussion of your likely requirements is always advisable and may help to avoid unnecessary delays later. Along with the documents to be authenticated, you should bring correspondence or other forms of advice/requirements specified by third parties or foreign lawyers.

Bring a current and valid passport or driving licence with adequate evidence of current residential address.

Further authentication from the relevant foreign consulate or embassy will often be required. Where it is, this process will involve delays and additional costs about which you will be properly informed.
