The Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR within the legal sector, supporting the delivery of a wide range of HR services across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across the full employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, training, performance, and offboarding).
- Assist with recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, scheduling interviews, and liaising with candidates.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with GDPR and employment law.
- Support payroll and benefits administration.
- Coordinate training sessions and workshops.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing guidance and escalating where necessary.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and wellbeing.
About You
- Previous HR experience (ideally within professional services or the legal sector).
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards)
