Employment Law Seminar attracts HR Professionals

BPE And CIPD Resized

BPE Solicitors, in conjunction with the CIPD, hosted a successful morning seminar on Thursday 25th September to an audience of over 80 delegates.

The commercial law firm’s eight strong Employment team presented to a packed room at Hatherley Manor Hotel on the recent changes in legislation and what to expect over the next year in regards to Employment law.

“This area of law is always evolving”, explained Tim Gofton, Partner in the Employment team at BPE. ‘So it’s important to keep up to date with the latest changes if you’re involved in the employment process, HR or you run your own business. We always look forward to presenting at this event.”

Key topics covered by the team included Disability Discrimination, Holiday Pay, Shared Parental Leave and Employment tribunals. Guests were also treated to networking and refreshments during the morning.

Fiona Chatham from CIPD commented, “We partner with BPE every year for the annual employment law update. It’s one of the most popular events with our members and the team are always knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions. We look forward to running the seminar again next year.”
