BPE Welcomes New Trainees

Gloucestershire based law firm BPE Solicitors has recently welcomed three new trainee solicitors to its Cheltenham Head Office.

Katie, originally from Cheltenham, has taken up her first seat in BPE’s busy Commercial Property team, having previously worked as a paralegal in another law firm and as a volunteer for the Citizens Advice Bureau.
She commented, “It’s great to join such an entrepreneurial firm like BPE. I’ve already been helping with all types of property work, from negotiating lease terms, to drafting sale contracts and reports on title. It’s nice to be able to hit the ground running.”

Rebecca Dorrington joins the firm with experience in both the property industry and private client law. Rebecca will also initially be working in BPE’s Commercial Property team, assisting with all types of work, including drafting leases, negotiation of leases terms and sales and purchases of commercial properties. Commenting on her new role, Rebecca said, “It’s nice to work for such a well-respected, busy firm. I’m looking forward to the challenges the next two years will bring. ”

Sian Randles has joined BPE’s Corporate team, assisting with the team’s listed company and mergers and acquisitions work. Originally from Surrey, she has previous experience in both conveyancing and as a court usher.Commenting on her new role, Sian said, “I’m really enjoying putting into practice what I have been studying for four years. There’s a great atmosphere around the office and it’s nice to be surrounded by like-minded people.”

Katie, Rebecca and Sian will each work in four different departments within the firm over the course of two years. They join three other Trainee Solicitors who are already at BPE - Katy Ponsford, Angharad Rees and Harriet Willmore.

John Workman, Senior Partner at BPE said, “We’re dedicated to the ongoing development of the firm. To keep growing, we need to recruit bright people with the correct skills and attitude – something which these three have in abundance.”
