BPE Solicitors celebrates staff development

Gloucestershire based law firm, BPE Solicitors, is again celebrating a number of promotions and at the same time welcomes a new group of trainees as part of its annual intake.

Following his promotion to Senior Associate last year, Doug Armstrong has progressed to become Partner in the Commercial Property team, alongside colleague Georgiana Applegate who has been promoted to Associate Solicitor.

The new trainees this year are Olivia Holden and Rupert Parker who join the Commercial Property team, while Beth Leadbeater begins her training contract in Corporate, and Shanade Smith supports Jonathan Sawtell-Gist in Contentious Probate.

Commenting on the new trainees, John Workman, Senior Partner, said: “It’s always a pleasure to see new faces at BPE. Many of our current team started as trainees and have gone on to great things. We have invested massively in new blood, skills and energy over the last three years and it is generating success. It’s also fantastic to see our existing team continuing their development, and gaining well-deserved promotions. We wish each and every one of new intake, as well as those who have been promoted all the best in their new roles.”

The new trainees bring the total number of staff at BPE to 130, including 12 trainee solicitors. BPE continues to experience impressive growth, with an increase of 7% in turnover in the past year. “Our continuing success creates the opportunity to grow our team and give us further strength yet in depth” concludes John.
