BPE’s Senior Partner, John Workman has begun his latest challenge to fundraise for The Footprints Foundation

BPE’s Senior Partner, John Workman has begun his latest challenge to fundraise for The Footprints Foundation, accompanied by friend and former colleague Tim Williams. They are being supported by Bob Holt and his son Will. Between 2nd and 9th July, they are taking on a total of nine climbs in the French Alps including no less than five Tour de France climbs.

Over the next week, John and Tim will cover a total distance of 392 miles and climb 8,848 metres (two and a half times the height of Everest!).  During this time they will tackle Alpe d’Huez as well as the iconic Mont Ventoux to raise funds for a charity close to their hearts.

The Footprints Foundation supports the Khaya Centre and its network of orphanages near Johannesburg providing care and medical help to young children who have lost their parents or have been abandoned by their families.  John has taken part in several projects with the Foundation in recent years and will be going to Johannesburg later this year to work with a project there.

We would like to thank NetDespatch and Investec for so generously sponsoring John’s cycle jersey. If you would like to make a donation to John’s fundraising, please visit his JustGiving page HERE.
