BPE announces partnership with Cheltenham Festivals

Top 200 law firm BPE Solicitors has become a Cheltenham Festivals Corporate Partner, cementing its support for the town’s celebration of science and the arts.

The partnership will see BPE extend its relationship with the charity across the Jazz, Science and Literature Festivals, having previously sponsored a number of individual events, including a business breakfast at the Science Festival earlier this year.

Lending their support to events featuring Richard Ayoade and Tom Kerridge at the Literature Festival in October and planning involvement in next year’s Jazz Festival, the firm is passionate about supporting one of the jewels in Cheltenham’s crown.

BPE Solicitors, who are based in Cheltenham, will also become legal advisor to Cheltenham Festivals in relation to a wide range of legal services.

John Workman, Senior Partner at BPE, said: “I’m delighted to be able to announce this exciting partnership with Cheltenham Festivals. The Festivals are well known regionally, nationally and internationally, with each appealing to its own distinct audience. We’re also full of admiration for the year-round schools’ engagement and talent development projects that the Cheltenham Festivals’ team deliver.

Many of our team have relocated to the area and we see a great synergy with the aims of the Festivals in promoting Cheltenham as a vibrant and exciting place to be. Each year, the list of speakers and performers seems to get better and better so it’s a great opportunity to get people excited about science and the arts.

We are also thrilled to be advising Cheltenham Festivals on legal matters and to be supporting them to achieve their commercial objectives over the coming year.”

Bernadette Murphy, Cheltenham Festivals Director of Marketing and Development, said: “With the support of partners like BPE, Cheltenham Festivals is ensuring the arts and sciences is accessible to all.  With over 800 events across four Festivals each year, Cheltenham Festivals are able to support emerging talent, whist also delivering educational programmes and year round outreach to over 25,000 schoolchildren. Partnerships, like this, enable all of our communities to experience music ranging from big band jazz to classical guitar, and hear speakers discussing subjects from democracy to genetics. Thank you BPE.”
