Paralegal completes London Marathon in memory of his mother

Joe was supposed to take part in the marathon last year but due to the pandemic, he had another 12 months to train, which really paid off as he completed the iconic 26.2 mile route through London in a phenomenal 4 hours and 6 minutes, . He has raised over £5,600 for the research charity, exceeding his fundraising target by over 50%, in the hope of improving survival rates of this disease.

Joe chose to run in aid of Pancreatic Cancer UK after he lost his mum to the disease a little over three years ago, Joe commented “It was a privilege to be part of such a large event and to run for a charity so close to my heart. On top of that, to be able to raise the amount of money we have done is testament to the support I have received from friends, family and colleagues. I’m now looking forward to a nice long rest before searching for the next challenge!”
