BPE Solicitors and Gloucester Rugby Club relationship grows further

BPE Solicitors are delighted to announce that they that they will continue to be an Official Business Partner of Gloucester Rugby and are going a step further now by becoming the sole sponsors of the popular Gloucester Rugby Business Club.

The official partnership has been in place since 2019 where BPE advises on a range of legal matters from Employment matters through to Commercial agreements. In fact, the Commercial Property team, led by Jo Bewley, advised the team on the move of their training ground from Hartpury to the new, elite training centre situated next to the stadium at Kingsholm in 2021.

The relationship between BPE and Gloucester Rugby has been growing for many years: first as members of the 1873 Club; then becoming an official partner of the Club and exclusively sponsoring the Club’s team sheet; to now being the sole sponsor of the new Business Club. The synergies between BPE and Gloucester Rugby mean that team work and achieving great things are at the heart of the relationship.

Both parties were very keen to extend the relationship and for this natural step to be taken, as commented on by Jo Bewley, Partner and Head of Property Services at BPE Solicitors.

“We are thrilled to be building on our relationship with Gloucester Rugby even further. As a regional law firm with a long history of working with businesses in Gloucestershire, sponsoring the new Business Club felt like the next natural step in this relationship.

“As we continue to work with Lance, Alex and the whole team at Gloucester Rugby, it becomes more evident that our values, priorities and style of working are incredibly similar. We look forward to working with the Club over the coming years and will continue to cheer on the team for the rest of this fantastic season and beyond.”

And Gloucester Rugby Chief executive Officer, Lance Bradley, reiterated those thoughts.

“We’ve worked closely with BPE Solicitors over the past few years on a whole range of issues, from highly visible projects like the new training centre to day to day legal challenges. We really appreciate their advice, which we can confidently apply to our business plan.”

He continues “We were delighted when they agreed to take on the role of sponsor of the Business Club. With their support, we can bring Gloucestershire businesses back together after a couple of turbulent years and look forward to creating an environment and resource for businesses to build and nurture new relationships.”
