The Corporate team at Cheltenham-based BPE Solicitors is celebrating being shortlisted for two awards at Insider’s annual South West Dealmakers Awards for a third year in a row. The awards celebrate the standout deals in the region over the past 12 months, across the corporate finance and dealmaking community.
The acquisition of TechTeam Group by Cheltenham-based BPE client, Bamboo Technology Group, is shortlisted for Small Deal of the Year. The acquisition, overseen by Adam Kean (Corporate Partner), has expanded Bamboo’s expertise, customer base and regional footprint in managed services provision and supports its focus on education and employment in the sector.
The second shortlisting is in the Medium Deal of the Year category for the Corporate team’s work for the shareholders of DAEL Ventures on the sale of the company to Mitie Group plc in an acquisition worth £15 million. Corporate Partner and Team Leader, Louise Grzasko, led the transaction which saw DAEL Ventures and its subsidiaries join the newly created Mitie Telecoms division.
