Family friendly benefits at BPE Solicitors

Supporting employees during every stage of their lives and careers is incredibly important at BPE which is why we offer benefits that matter such as enhanced maternity and paternity schemes. BPE introduced the Parent Promise as a new employee benefit in October 2022 and it has been one of our most popular benefits to date.

Dear Bump provides support from pregnancy to post-partum, access to midwives and wellbeing gift boxes. One of the most invaluable elements of the support offered is for pregnancies which end in loss. Every member of staff at BPE has access to this benefit which is available to both pregnant employees and those who have pregnant partners.

Ben Adams, Corporate Associate, said “I think it's been a really lovely perk, the boxes provide lovely and helpful gifts for mother and baby, however I think the most useful aspect for us (as first time parents) was the WhatsApp midwife support, when we first came home we had lots of questions about feeding and 'was this normal etc'- the midwives were always super quick to respond and offer helpful advice.”

Natalie McMahon, Commercial Litigation Solicitor, said “Receiving my first Dear Bump box was such a lovely surprise and felt like a real treat at a time when I had been feeling quite unwell with sickness. As well as all of the goodies, I really enjoyed reading all about my baby’s development week-by-week. It is nice to work for a firm who celebrate their employee’s news with them - Thank you BPE for setting up this brilliant subscription.”

Having recently won the Employer of the Year Award sub £15 million at the Circles2Success Business Awards 2023, continuing to create a supportive environment for employees remains a top priority for BPE.
