Purchase and finance of property valued over £900,000 completed by BPE’s Commercial Property team

Thomas Christie in BPE’s Commercial Property team recently assisted a client with the purchase of a multi-use investment property in Oxford.

The property, located on St Clements Street, consists of office space and a restaurant on ground floor level and HMO above. In addition to advising the purchaser throughout, Thomas reported to a lender on the property itself and the multiple occupational leases to obtain funding for the purchase.

Whilst the transaction proved to be more complex than it first appeared once the due diligence process began, Thomas was able to guide both the purchaser and lender to completion.

BPE hopes to continue to advise on this property in future with proposals for the grant of a lease of the office space already underway.
