BPE Solicitors LLP have advised Select Technology Group - the UK and Ireland’s leading Apple Reseller – in its strategic move to expand its footprint in the EdTech sector, by acquiring JTRS, Apple Authorised Education Specialist.
The acquisition was led by Laurence Twiselton (Corporate Partner) with assistance from the firm’s Corporate & Commercial team (Joley Croft and Jasmine Bailey), as well as the Employment (Stephen Conlan and Emily Arnold) and Commercial Property teams (Thomas Christie).
The acquisition enables both companies to leverage their combined expertise and resources to support educational institutions across Great Britain and Northern Ireland with Apple’s technology and solutions.
The deal, which officially took place on 7 February 2025, will see the JTRS team and services integrated into Select Technology Group, creating a broader network of support for schools, colleges, and universities.
