Specialists in super surgery developments in BPE Solicitors’ Commercial Property team advised on the acquisition, construction and financing of the new Wilson Health Centre, which opened its doors to patients on 21 June 2022.
The new super surgery brings three surgeries together under one roof with over 40 NHS primary care medical professionals providing support to the Cheltenham community including GPs, nurses and phlebotomists, more consulting and treatment rooms, as well as an on-site pharmacy and future dental service.
Head of Property Services, Jo Bewley, led the team at BPE (which was made up of Property, Construction and Corporate solicitors) and oversaw all elements of the property acquisition, development and finance arrangements which has seen Berkeley Place Surgery, Prestbury Park Medical and Royal Crescent Surgery combine their health and care services in one single location.
Jo commented “This is a project the team have been working on since 2019 and we are delighted to see the surgery built and already serving the health and care needs of Cheltenham’s residents”.
