To show you the range of work we are involved in, here are a few examples of recent projects for construction and engineering clients.
A national civil engineer asked us to review NEC3 tender packages involving infrastructure works. The projects were worth between £500,000 and £12m. Thanks to our thorough understanding of the NEC form of contract, we turned around the reviews in less than 48 hours.
The board of a national hotel builder and the procurement managers of a hotel asked us for strategic advice during a development worth £2.23m. We contributed to their development agreement, drafting professional appointments as well as the building contract. We also advised on warranties needed to enable the work.
We helped the client manage their relationship with multiple parties, delivering complex documentation and agreements on time and within budget. We were not fazed when there was a company take over during the project that led to a change of specification.
Working across several sites
A national mechanical and electrical contractor asked us to carry out a risk report on their framework agreement with the Cabinet Office’s contracting arm. The work was worth £5m and involved security installations across several central Government departments and inner London hospitals.
