Make a Will and make a difference for older people across Gloucestershire

Charity Age UK Gloucestershire and local law firm BPE Solicitors have teamed up for an initiative that is set to raise funds for the charity, which supports older people in the county through a range of services.

For people wishing to make a straightforward Will, BPE will waive their normal fee in return for a donation to Age UK Gloucestershire.

Rob Fountain, Age UK Gloucestershire CEO said;

“Having a Will is the only way people can properly ensure that their wishes are met, so it’s important that we all have our affairs in order. Over half of the population in the UK don’t have a Will so we hope this initiative will help raise awareness of how important it is to have an up to date, professionally written Will.

“We are delighted that BPE Solicitors have chosen to work with us and we are extremely grateful for their support.”

Clare Young, Partner in BPE’s Private Client team commented; “Age UK Gloucestershire provide vital services to people in the community who are often overlooked. Supporting this project gives us the chance to provide funds for the incredible work this charity carries out for local older people.”

The initiative will run for two weeks from 15th June, but customers can start the process straight away by contacting Age UK Gloucestershire on 01452 422660 or by visiting the website www.ageukgloucestershire.org.uk.
