Strong showing from BPE Solicitors in latest legal rankings

The breadth of expertise across the team at BPE Solicitors has been recognised following the release of the latest Legal 500 rankings.

The top-200 firm is listed in nine categories with the Commercial Litigation and Employment Teams again ranked in Tier 1 while three areas - IT and Telecoms, Intellectual Property and Charities and Not-For-Profit - all improved their rankings.

Listings in a further four categories included Corporate and Commercial, Commercial Property, Private Client and Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate. The results cement BPE’s position as one of the leading law firms in the region.

Praise was also handed out to Partner Philip Radford who received the ‘elite leading lawyer’ accolade with regards to Commercial Litigation. Also named were Rebecca Maxwell as a ‘next generation lawyer’, while Louise Grzasko and John Carter were recognised as ‘rising star lawyers.’

“To have been able to build on our results from last year by maintaining six of our rankings and improving on the other three is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire business,” commented Senior Partner, John Workman. “On a personal note, after 30 years of working together, I am delighted that Philip has the recognition he well deserves.”

“It’s particularly pleasing that our Technology team have improved their rankings as it’s a rapidly growing sector with a huge amount of opportunity. But yet again, our performance across all sectors demonstrates the scope of services we can offer clients with the aim of providing legal solutions that make a difference to their businesses.”

The listings recognised many of the BPE team, including Anthony Rudge, Iain Garfield and Louise Grzasko (Corporate and Commercial): John Carter, Philip Radford and Riyaz Jariwalla (Commercial Litigation): Helen Cankett (Private Client – Family); Antonia Shield, Doug Armstrong, Jo Bewley and Rebecca Maxwell (Commercial Property); Emma Hickson and Iain Garfield (IT and Telecoms) and Iain Garfield and Riyaz Jariwalla (Intellectual Property).
