Top Tier Commercial Dispute Resolution/Litigation
There is no better time than now to explore mediation as a method of resolving a dispute or ongoing litigation. This has been recently recommended by Lord Neuberger, the former President of the Supreme Court, to avoid expensive and complex litigation.
Mediation is a flexible, voluntary and confidential form of alternative dispute resolution, in which a qualified and trained neutral third party assists parties to work towards a negotiated settlement of their dispute, with the parties retaining control of the decision on whether or not to settle and on what terms. If successful, mediation can resolve a dispute in days, instead of months.
Some key benefits of mediation include:
- Reduction of costs, lost opportunity and/or management time
- Certainty over dispute
- Business relationships can be preserved or enhanced
- Long-term relationships restored
- Settlements can be kept confidential
- Speedier resolutions with mediation lasting hours
- Low risk exposure – “nothing to lose”
- High chance of settlement.
If you or your clients are involved in a dispute, consider BPE’s tried and tested digital mediation solution.
How does Digital Mediation work?
Each party can participate in mediation from multiple remote locations using a choice of Zoom, Skype, Whatsapp or Facetime.
Using any one of these digital platforms allows BPE to operate the mediation in exactly the same way as if it was being attended in person by the parties – except each party is attending digitally.
All sessions with our mediator will be private and confidential.
If a joint session is required between the parties, BPE will manage and invite into the digital session only the participants that are required.
How long does a digital mediation session last?
Typically mediation is most successful if it is scheduled for a full day (circa 7 hours).
However, because Digital Mediation is conducted digitally and with parties being in remote locations, we are able to offer the following lengths of mediation:
Half Day - 4 Hours
Full Day - 8 Hours
