The variety of my work means my clients include families, private individuals, professionals and charities
I qualified as a solicitor advocate with Higher Rights of Audience in the Civil Courts of England and Wales. I am also an accredited mediator and an associate of the Association of Contentious Trusts & Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) in 2014. I joined BPE’s Contentious Probate team in their Private Client department in September 2017 having previously worked at Harrison Clark Rickerbys. My expertise lies within a variety of different matters, ranging from Wills, Trusts and Probate disputes to Equine disputes.
My typical workload consists of claims for reasonable financial provision under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, the validity of Wills, breach of trust claims against executors and trustees, professional negligence claims against Will writers, and claims concerning the validity or effect of trust documents.
I also assist clients with equine based disputes, such as sale and purchase disputes and a raft of non-contentious matters such as yard leases, loan and livery agreements.
I am an author of two children’s books and a former 3 day event rider, having previously represented Great Britain at international competitions.
